Last week, our Community Table served 201 guests in our dining room – setting a record for the number of lunches served in a single day; a record just recently set in August 2025.
It truly takes a village, and on this record-breaking day, twenty-seven dedicated volunteers showed up. They washed dishes, bussed tables, cooked, sorted, served, and more. We are incredibly proud of the effort and heart shown by each person:
Tony R., Joe R., Brad W., Scott E., Andi M., Linda D., Krysten H., David K., Doug D., Carey B., Mary K., Jean J., Maria K., Ellen G., Michael L., Greg H., Cathy G., Kiah F., Amy S., Jeff J., Amelia F., Kathy D., Julie L., Debbie S., Jessica R., Jake J., and Dean C.
Although being able to serve so many is something to be proud of, it also highlights a serious concern – food insecurity within our community is growing. More people are seeking our help, and we continue to find ways to adjust and keep meeting their needs. We are committed to standing alongside our guests, providing support, compassion, and resources to ensure no one is left behind. But to do that, we need you.
During this season of giving, we encourage you to consider making a financial contribution or participating in our 2025 Holiday Food Drive. Your generosity will ensure that we can continue to serve warm meals and offer comfort to those who need it most in our community.
