When we launched our first Full Plate Campaign this fall, it was a grassroots effort built on hope, powered by neighbors, and grounded in the belief that when we come together, extraordinary things happen. And your response made the difference. Because of your generosity, we didn’t just meet our goal — we surpassed it, raising a little more than $300,000 to nourish our neighbors and sustain the education and tutoring program our families count on. For a first-year campaign, this is nothing short of remarkable, and we are deeply grateful.
We also want to be transparent about what this success means. These funds don’t create a surplus; they create stability. Your gifts helped close critical gaps caused by the end of temporary ARPA funding and the absence of our annual gala. In a season when the mission demanded our full focus, you ensured Angels & Sparrows could stay steady—meals served with dignity, tutoring and mentoring uninterrupted, and adult education moving forward.
Because of you, a parent won’t have to choose between groceries and gas. A child will have a full belly and a quiet place to do homework. An adult will continue classes that open doors to better jobs. That’s what your support truly accomplished.
As we celebrate this success, please understand there remains great need in our community and our work is year-round. If you’re able, we invite you to keep this momentum going by making a monthly gift or continuing your annual support aside from this campaign. Together, we can ensure that what we built this fall endures — and that no neighbor must face hunger and hardship alone.
On behalf of all of us at Angels & Sparrows, thank you for believing in our mission and for turning your compassion into action. You filled more than plates — you filled hearts with hope.
With deep gratitude,
Brandi Jones, Executive Director
